Song Pin Tu Ji is all about classic Taiwanese flavor. It started as a stall in a corner of a traditional market, and because they’re super strict about chicken quality, it slowly became a famous spot foodies love. They always use mature tu ji (free-range local chickens) that get lots of exercise, and slow-cook them with their own secret method passed down for years to lock in all the natural sweetness.
Their star dish, yan shui ji, has crispy skin and tender, juicy, sweet meat. It’s seasoned with just salt, so you taste the pure flavor of the chicken. The yan xun gan zhe ji has a strong sugarcane smell, a beautiful golden color, and a rich smoky flavor that stays with you. It’s a dish that takes real skill, and you have to have it on the table.
